Print Design
Maintaining consistency within each edition and from issue to issue; flat-planning, cross-referencing, sub-editing, picture editing; regular features, special features, advertorials – I am well-acquainted with these and other ingredients that make a publication come to life. I have designed guides, brochures and other documents for businesses both small and large, from start-ups to multinationals. Working to existing brand guidelines is the kind of discipline I welcome; creating and rolling out a new identity is the sort of challenge I enjoy rising to. I have designed child-friendly content for national newspapers, stand-alone publications and in-flight magazines – causing sensory overload with jarring colours, jaunty angles and jam-packed layouts; specifying special inks, glow-in-the-dark inks, even scratch'n' sniff inks.
